Chef Ian Schnoebelen and General Manager Laurie Casebonne opened their first restaurant, Iris, in January of 2006.  Iris is a fine-dining bistro with Contemporary American fare at The Bienville House Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter.

In 2007, Schnoebelen was awarded Best New Chef by Food & Wine Magazine.

In January of 2013, the pair opened their second restaurant, Mariza. Mariza serves Italian-inspired cuisine in a casual comfortable environment at the Rice Mill Lofts in the Bywater, right along the edge of the Marigny and the Mississippi River.
